Este artigo traça um paralelo entre os estágios e as principais operações da obra alquímica, ao redor das quais se estrutura o processo de individuação experimentado pelo método Sandplay. Seguindo a contextualização teórica de C.G.Jung e Edward F. Edinger,demonstra-se, por meio de um caso clínico, os processos alquímicos em evidência em cada cena, o momento presente do paciente e os conteúdos psíquicos elaborados.

Following the theoretical contextualization of C.G. Jung and Edward F. Edinger, and based on a clinical case, the author demonstrates the alchemical processes that are evidenced in each scene, and the psychic contents that are then elaborated in psychotherapy.
